Moths.
I hate moths. Absolutely hate them. They are disgusting, pointless, ugly, terrifying harbingers of death. Bit weird considering I quite like butterflies. That's right... I am a sufferer of Mottephobia (yes, that is the real name for it). I don't know where this admittedly irrational phobia stemmed from, but my first moth-based memory is lying in bed when I was about 10 and using a tissue to squish a moth on the wall. It left a dusty, grey smear. Sick. But honestly, what is the point of a moth? What contribution do they make to the planet? NOTHING! They are frankly too stupid to do anyone any good. They flap madly around any source of light because they think it's the sun. Morons. As soon as the sun goes down, they emerge from their hiding places and fly into different things until the sun comes up. They always wait on my front door so I can't even get into my house! Evil... In our shed in Mozambique, there was a single light bulb that hung down from the ceiling and attracted loads of moths. Obviously, this in itself made me very uneasy, but once one of them actually FLEW INTO MY FACE. GROOOOOOOOOOOSS. In English the other day my lecturer was saying how in A Streetcar Named Desire, Blanche is likened to a moth. José, the spanish kid in my class, didn't know what a moth was so my lecturer put a huge picture of one up on the whiteboard and left it up for about 20 thousand trillion hours. I couldn't even look. And Laetitia thought it was really funny to see me squirming. I just don't understand how anyone can tolerate moths. They are horrifying, nauseating zombie butterflies. Beth ♥

Long Time No See...
Well hellooooooo there ;)
I'm terribly terribly sorry I haven't blogged since... Oh my Lord... November.
Doesn't time fly?
No, it doesn't.
Shut up, it's rhetorical you moron.
The reason I haven't blogged for aaaages is I've been very 'busy'. Ha. Not really. I just couldn't be bothered. Or as the cool kids say these days 'ceeeeeeb'.
Since it's my first blog of 2010, Happy New Year!!!!!! Hurrah, fireworks etc.
But it's not January, it's June. Whoops. Where did the months go?? Shhh, that's also rhetorical.
I am currently in the process of 'revising' for my GCSEs - what a ROFL - so not a long blog I'm afraid.
I just thought I'd check up on y'all so see you laterrrrrr
Beth :) xx

Remember remember the...er...11th of November.
Happy Rememberence day my lovely alarm clocks!
Never forget today is:
My dad's birthday
Becky's dad's birthday
Emily's friend Jess' birthday
Lois' birthday
and I'm pretty sure none of these people even died in a war. Bruv.
I am so BLEEEEEEPIN' angry at Mr Webb. If I have to do my eportfolio again I will
Slit him open
Stamp on his face
Throw him in a road
Run over him
Reverse over him
Run over him
Reverse over him
Chop him in to pieces
Throw him on a bonfire
and say "I'm not even very happy."
After I had shaken of my burning rage it was, yes ladies and gentlemen, time for pianooooooooo.
Diminished sevenths... *shudder*
But then the horror of today (not toady as I almost typed. LOL) was blown away like an Emily in the breeze because we went out for daddy's birthday meal.
I bought my dad a Spandau Ballet CD (they are apparently not a ballet company, but a band that were 'cool' in the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth and my dad was 'hip' and 'groovy'. Ish. I reassured my dad there was nothing wrong with him liking ballet anyway.)
I also noticed that Dad had a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog cards from the kids he teached. Now, this obviously poses the questions: Has my dad become a secret gamer in his old age? And, more importantly, what's on telly tonight?
There was also a card with 'Harris Ice Creams' on it. So, either there's a secret gamer's ice cream van I don't know about ('cos it's a secret, innit?) or the kid really likes ice cream. Number one is most likely.
Anyway, back to the meal. My dear form tutor Mr Gladdy was in Shanaz when we arrived. He was wearing a hoodie. Rebel. (I'd like to point out he wasn't JUST wearing a hoodie, eurgh). We had some interesting convos, me and the 'rents. Mainly about electric fences and pringle pots, but me and my dear mama had a right waffle when she blurted out a bit too loud; "So you had a fat, ugly hooker?" Mmmhmm. They were talking about 'rugby'. Sure.
Enough ranting for one night
Adios fellows

Zumbaaaa :)
Evenin' dear readers.
It is so much EFFORT to get up at 7 o'clock in the morning.
"Bethy! Are you awake?"
"No."
One day I may pretend to be dead. That would be funny. In a non-funny sort of way.
P.E. was awesome. We were doing ZUMBA (hence the title) which is a Latin dancey aerobicy type thingy. There was a lot of GIRATION FOR THE NATION (quote Talon at Youth Synod last year) and hip-wiggling in a cheesy, embarrassing, odd-looking way. Woop.
My English teacher was in a bad mood again. But she arose from the dark abyss of despair long enough to make the legendary joke of "Vocab-you-larry!"
As Jake would say; "Epic fail". But it did remind me of Larry the Cucumber, so I will let her off.
So after a surprisingly fairly above-average day at school, I went down to the café and hung around. Me and Jake did the awesome sweet-catching game again. We are getting better at it. Kind of. Jack was being a stroppy grumpy sulky pants, because him and Emily had a raging barney (i.e. they fell out). "Oooh I'm Jack Baines and I'm sulky bloop bloop bloop" etc. Jake and Tamsin were luvey-duveying again. Mwah mwah. Bless themmmmmmm. I hung around until 5 o'clock when all the "leet" Youth exec-ers came down for their meeting. This was so I could "mingle". Man, do I suck at mingling. Jo and I had the rousing convo of
"Beth, how are you?"
"Fine thanks."
"Good."
Inspiring I know.
Well, that's about it for my beautifully normal day.
So, enough now.
